Medic First Aid® CarePlus CPR™
(Adult, Child, and Infant CPR) |
MEDIC FIRST AID CarePlus CPR is a community-focused, comprehensive training program in adult, child, and infant emergency resuscitation for the lay rescuer. CarePlus CPR will teach students how to perform resuscitation for patients of all ages who are victims of sudden cardiac arrest, as well as those who have stopped breathing or are unresponsive or choking. CarePlus CPR is the perfect complement to training in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and can be combined with first aid training to help meet OSHA requirements for first aid training in the workplace. |
Medic First Aid®
Basic Life Support for Professionals™ (BLSPRO™) |
MEDIC FIRST AID Basic Life Support for Professionals (BLSPRO) is designed for individuals expected or required to perform pre-hospital basic life support. BLSPRO introduces a new approach to learning, using an integrated management style of care, instead of the standard step-by-step approach for professional-level BLS/CPR responders. Our unique Talk-through Scenarios facilitate learning and retention through small group practice. With an emphasis on working in teams, the BLSPRO program covers adult, child, and infant skills for both individual responders and emergency teams. It is designed to meet national and state CPR training requirements for EMS and healthcare responders.

Medic First Aid®
AED |
The MEDIC FIRST AID AED Supplement is designed to teach the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) when responding to a person experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death in occupational settings. A defibrillator is the only definitive treatment. AEDs are used prior to arrival of EMS and are an integral component of the Chain of Survival. The first few minutes of care are critical for someone experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
In addition to the MEDIC FIRST AID AED course featuring a variety of defibrillators, we offer the following device-specific courses:
Philips FR2+® Automated External Defibrillator
Medtronic PHYSIO-CONTROL® LIFEPAK 500 |
Medic First Aid®
Bloodbourne Pathogens |
The MEDIC FIRST AID Bloodbourne Pathogens program is designed to train employees who have a significant health risk of occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious bodily fluids and materials. This training will help employees satisfy training requirements put forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
OSHA compliance, employee protection |
Medic First Aid®
Emergency Oxygen |
With the MEDIC FIRST AID Emergency Oxygen Supplement, the trained first aid provider will learn the importance of introducing oxygen as an integral part of the care provided for an ill or injured patient. Supplying emergency oxygen helps meet the ill or injured patient’s critical need for oxygen. When illness or injury reduces the body’s ability to process oxygen, shock will soon occur, unless the effects of the decreased amount of oxygen in the blood can be reversed.

This program provides students with advanced first aid training, giving them additional tools to manage illnesses and injuries until the arrival of EMS. |
Medic First Aid®
(First Aid)Emergency Care |
The MEDIC FIRST AID Emergency Care training program is designed to train individuals and corporations that require training in basic first aid skills. This program will provide first aid training to students, giving them the skills necessary to manage illnesses and injuries until the arrival of EMS. Emergency Care is designed to complement cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training in order to meet OSHA requirements for first aid training in the workplace. |
Medic First Aid®
(CPR)
Infant/Child |
With the MEDIC FIRST AID Infant/Child Supplement, currently trained adult CPR and first aid providers can learn lifesaving skills that will prepare them to care for patients eight years old and younger. Responding to an ill or injured infant or child can be especially difficult and stressful. The Infant/Child Supplement teaches the student to remain calm, confident, and in control of the situation. This often positively effects the patient’s response to the care provided. |
