 School System Programs
School Systems are not left out of the disaster preparation need. In fact schools are in more need that most others for this type of preparation. Incidents at schools can be minor in general but in a school setting can become a major disaster in very little time. Fires, Floods, Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Shootings & many, many others, call for preparedness. These days school systems nation wide are not only required (by the Federal Government) to have an "EAP" Emergency Action Plan in place, but they have to be able use it. As well, school systems are required to be trained in the "NIMS" National Incident Management System, but are also should be proficient in its use. Having worked with many school districts here in the Bay Area over the years, we can create a program, bring it up-to-speed or provide a training program to practice usage of it.

Orientation to Safety based on your schools program. This can include: Evacuation Plans, Fire Safety, Personal Protective Equipment, Lifting and Illness / Injury Prevention, CPR & First Aid for credential, etc. |

Understanding N.I.M.S. National Incident Management System can be a daunting tasks in and of itself. We pride ourselves in simplifying it and showing how flexible the system is. For instance many people don't know that NIMS is actually a very flexible system that can expand and contract as the need arises or decreases.
